WOMEN’S Carpentry classes
Women's carpentry classes and woodworking series offered in partnership with Gorge MakerSpace in White Salmon, Washington. During these classes, women learn basic skills and tool safety, build confidence and friendships, and design and build their own projects. Projects have included cutting boards, boxes, stools, benches and wall art!
Community DIY Building classes
Community DIY building classes in partnership with: Tum-A-Lum Lumber in Hood River, The Dalles and Pendleton, Oregon; Gerretsen Building Supply in Roseburg, Oregon; Marson and Marson Lumber in Leavenworth and Cle Elum, Washington; and Browne’s Home Center in Friday Harbor, Washington. Projects have included block lamps, bird houses, tool boxes, planter boxes and more!
GREEN CONSTRUCTION TRAINING
Construction training including introduction to green building, building science, home weatherization, renewable energy and career exploration. Classes offered through Earth Advantage and eligible for Green Building Trainee designation.
